Diamondbacks Shock Dodgers 9-5 at Dodger Stadium: Three Homers and Big Win Highlights

Diamondbacks Show Up and Flat Out Beat the Dodgers 9-5  Homers, Hustle, and Heart

Man, last night’s game? It was one of those where you just know one team cared way more. And that team was the Diamondbacks. They showed up at Dodger Stadium like they weren’t just visitors they were the ones running the show.

The scoreboard said 9-5, but honestly, it felt like a whole lot more than that. Arizona came out swinging hard. Lourdes Gurriel Jr., Gabriel Moreno, and Geraldo Perdomo each blasted two-run homers one after the other. It was like watching a highlight reel in real-time. Every time one of those balls flew over the fence, you could feel the energy jump off the screen.

Then there’s Brandon Pfaadt. This guy was calm as hell, pitching six innings and giving up only three runs. That’s his seventh win this season no one else has more. Pretty wild, right?

The Dodgers? Yeah, Mookie Betts was still doing his thing two solo homers like it was no big deal. Shohei Ohtani also smashed his 17th homer of the year, just reminding everyone he’s one of the best in the game.

But aside from those moments? L.A. just couldn’t get it together. Their starter, Jack Dreyer, gave up three runs early, and Landon Knack followed up by giving up four more. The bullpen tried to hold the line but just couldn’t stop the damage. Defensively? The Dodgers looked off slow and sloppy. They’ve now given up six or more runs in four straight games. Not a good look.

One cool highlight, though: Teoscar Hernández made a clutch home-run robbery and then came through with a run batted in on a groundout. First game back after dealing with soreness, and he still showed up big time.

Bottom line the Diamondbacks were just better. They’ve now won five of their last six games at Dodger Stadium, and that “playing in L.A. is scary” vibe? Totally gone. They walked in, took control, and walked out with a big W.

What’s Next?

For the Diamondbacks, this win could be the momentum boost they really needed. They’re swinging with confidence and looking like a team that’s ready to mess with anyone.

For the Dodgers, though? They’ve got some work to do. Their bats can hit, no doubt, but pitching and defense need a serious tune-up fast.

After last night, one thing’s clear: Arizona didn’t just beat the Dodgers they sent a message loud and clear.
